I had to lock the board to new sign-ups SuperAndrei. For a few months in a row all the new people were spammers. It was taking hours out of my week. And now, I'm still finding spam posts that I'm cleaning up today. But actually, as far as real posts go, the forum went quite months before I locked out new members.

However, after a massive cleanup of spam today I have set all forums so that only registered members can post. In addition, I have reopened the board for new signups since I modified the forum code to lock out the member profile link spammers.

This situation has to stop NOW.

First of all, it has no sense to keep a forum online without permitting registration.

If the problem is the spam, i'm sure there are also solutions.

For example, when you write a new post you have to fill also a space with casual letters (like this: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_register?.intl=us&new=1&.done=http%3A//mail.yahoo.com&.src=ym)
So it's impossible to post with an automatic crawl.

And if there are spammers yet, only some of us will be able to post link.

But please try to populate this forum and not to limit it.
