I'am currently messing around trying to make the flattest battery I can.Upto now I have made a few with toothpaste and a couple of electrodes,only get half a volt but it's a start,they are about 1mm thick and about 1inch square.
Who know's I might make a few quid.Related Category:
0 volts is flat! Or is it balanced EMF? Or is it ..... never nothing.

Well Devans I can't say I know the elements,but i would take a guess at saying the toothpaste (ive used several kinds with the same results)has some kind of citric or acidic base which i use as the electrolyte to react with the electrodes.
I have also used pepsi,vinegar and similar but they are liquids which are not realy suitable.Related Category:
