Zelda: No More Cel Shading  Reply with quote

Screenshots of the sequel to The Wind Waker show us clearly that Nintendo have moved away from cel shading.

When The Wind Waker was announced, there were heated discussions all over the internet about why Nintendo went for the "childish" look. The Wind Waker in my opinion proved that realistic graphics don't make a game brilliant - the gameplay does.

With the next GameCube Zelda being developed with ultra-realistic graphics, how do you react? Is this a good thing? Or would you rather have a Zelda game devloped quicker but with cel shaded graphics? Question

I've just watched some video footage of the next Zelda game. Even at this stage, the game has stunning graphics. Cel shaded graphics can never stun people like realistic graphics can! Laughing
