Domestic Pets

What sort of animals do you prefer to keep around the home? Do you prefer dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, or budgies? Why?

Personally, I like keeping cats. They're friendly enough to have around, and when you're busy, they can entertain themselves easily. Very Happy

Kids aren't bad but expensive to maintain and very dirty! (Also press reset keys!)

I agree. From experience, cats are self-centred and often extremely agressive creatures that often end up running away several times until they finally cannot be found again. By comparison, dogs are true companions and great friends.

However, cats can be kind and affectionate and dogs can be fierce killing machines. It just depends on the animal, its background, its family and its breed (a bit like people Wink

).

Aren't budgies a type of bird?

I've always wanted a dog, but I've never lived anywhere that allowed pets, other than ones kept in a cage or tank.

So I have fish. Well, the fish are still at my parent's house until I get settled enough here. Plus I don't have a table or anything that will support the tank yet.

Don't worry, I don't know what a budgie is, either.

This budgie thing is turning into a big mistery( or lack of knoledge ) .
I would like to live somewhere so that i could have a dog ,a donkey ,a horse ,a dog and a few ducks;and skate.(animals should be free ,as are humans)

i love animals....have 3 dogs...2 rabbits..and i would like to have a horse....but well i don't have enough place for one! Very Happy

I prefer cat and dog and talking parrot. why ? because the cat sleep when i'm play whit the dog and whit talking parrot I talk all day. Very Happy

Well i have 3 dogs...of which one was taken from the street...poor thing was run over by a car and we took it home and well .... the dog still is scared..don't know why....because it gets food and sleeps all day long!.it shouldn't be scared of anything..lol
2 rabbits....prety funny animals! but u have to take care of them pretty much!(they need attention) Wink
