Hellooooooooooooooooo! Such a quiet site - found it by accident. I was just about to walk out when the name Guy Sebastian jumped out at me - a personal favourite.
I listen to many genres of music too (as someone here said) - don't like to pick one as favourite. Pop/urban, Latin, World, some rock (don't ask me what sort of rock), jazz, blues, tango music. I noticed Christian music fans (or A fan). Never listened to any before Guy - actually saw him sing in church a couple of weeks back. That was some hair-raising, goosebump experience, I can tell you. Darned near converted me!

At least we have our own language across the ditch. Poroporoaki from Mike in the Mighty Waikato.

That's because they're being driven out by you lot coming over here. Fair swap, I reckon. I've got rellies in NZ - should drop over myself. I'm off to Sydney at the weekend. I'm told I need a NZ passport to visit Bondi these days.(lol)
Poropor .... whatever it was you said, from Villarosa in Melbourne.

I came into this forum originally talking about Guy Sebastian. Saw him in concert in Sydney last weekend. He is just so good. If people ever get the opportunity - go to it! He always gives more than the last time, shows us a new angle. Takes us further along the Guy road, goes back to the start to things we first loved (but sung even better and never quite the same as the time before), goes forward again, takes a side road to Motown ... full of surprises, always something more. Great singer, brilliant live act, great band.
I'm in awe.

PS. Didn't get to Bondi. Did go to Manly Beach on Sunday though, walked in sand (got sore calf muscles), beautiful weather!Related Category: |

I love jazz. But it's not the only thing I love. I also love tango music, and Motown and other stuff that isn't listed. I never do those polls if I can only choose one thing.
