There would have to be a major reason why you were not accepted. Why not try again and select a very small area - say a TV show or a computer game or even your neighbourhood and do some editing there. If your suburb is not in the OEP post the locality here and we will create it and you can apply to edit it. You can find content anywhere - local newspaper, library even details about your local school, sporting team or points of interest. Suggest start small and put everything into it you can - in your own words and ask someone to have a look at it afterwards. Good luck and keep trying.

A major mistake many people who apply make is that they think we are a web directory and suggest website links. We are an encyclopedia and not a web directory, so it would be advisable in your next application that you provide a good original paragraph of content without mentioning any websites. If you have done this, try checking your grammar and make sure you are not applying for a very large category or a top-level categories as these probably won't be accepted first time off.Related Category:

Re: Editor App
The two main reasons I find myself declining applications are:
1) The applicant thinks that we are a directory, when infact we are an encyclopedia.
2) The applicant provides plagarised sample content.
