runescape is the best!! it takes a while to sink in. i have been playing for a year now and i have finally got a character i liked i cant play much cause of my moms job but it definately replace everquest because its free. if runescape was a hot woman i would marry it lol. EVERYONE KILL KNIGH240 HE IS MY FRIENDS CHAR THAT GOT STOLEN AND WE R TRYIN TO MAKE HIM PAY !!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME,

I only played Runescape very briefly, as my computer is absolute crap, and can't handle even the low resolution version. But what I did notice is the player-to-player communication reminded me of the old days of The Palace chat rooms.
But I do have to agree with the statement made that the players of RS are pretty mean. Like, really mean. I find that absolutely appalling, particularly for a game that cares so much about what you do in game (or at least that's what I gather from the constant threats in the ad windows "You might get banned!").
I'm quite obsessed with Castle Marrach, however. Granted, after the two-week trial you have to pay for a membership to Skotos but they offer like 13 or so different RPGs. It's pretty worth it.
Castle Marrach's a text-based MMORPG that's set in a medieval fantasy castle where you can't get out and it's always winter. There's no hack and slash, and there's no money in the game, either. You advance, or not advance your character however you want to, based on gaining social favor.  Related Category:

i love runescape its ace im a lvl 87 combat and i have lvl 72 mage!!!!!1 im ace at pking anyone wana join my new clan the add dad ada and join me i only accespt lvl 80 well like i said add dad ada and join this fantasic game~ 
but il still win in a dm, grrrr
